Congratulations, we've PASSED!

City and Guilds External Verification visit, June 2016.

Achieving our external quality control visit and subsequent certifications is such great news!  It means that our potential delegates, our customers and our long term clients now have complete assurance that Total Comms Training delivers and operates to the highest quality training standards and under the national standards associated with training; as a point of principal, we at Total Comms Training will continue to strive to maintain and improve these training standards – it is this process that sets us apart.

I am incredibly proud of Total Comms Training trainers and the support teams who have worked so hard over the last 12 months to make our investment into these key training standards a reality.  It hasn’t been easy, requiring strategic training and operational reviews, some significant changes and the addition of new elements, processes and procedures to embed these new standards into the very heart of our training and of course, our organisation.

When City and Guilds set out to externally verify a training provider, the two governmental agencies, JCQ and QCA set the standard for ‘training quality management’. This is the standard that is applied to all training provider’s that are approved to deliver the communications cabling qualification, City and Guilds 3667-02. In addition, the external quality consultant works to a more specific standard for ‘the quality of delivery and the training’. Both of these standards are demanding but ultimately helps Total Comms Training enhance and maintain the highest levels of training quality that today’s business environment demands. And through the ongoing internal quality auditing programme, it is your assurance that we will be able to make certain that when you training with us, you are always in safe hands.

In today’s fast-paced and complex world, it’s increasingly difficult to ensure the quality of the training that you are potentially paying large amounts of hard earned cash for. We’re all familiar with stories and headlines of recent years highlighting dubious training companies offering to certify any old training course, with organisations seeing graphic evidence that the technicians are just not trained! Training quality cannot be taken for granted these days and the training programmes and they competencies of the training provider has to be a key concern for any organisation that needs to rely upon a training and business partner, with a heavy reliance on trust.

Total Comms Training has always been committed to providing the best quality service possible and we take the delivery and the quality of training very seriously.  Our new external quality audit carried out by City and Guilds provides us with the badges of honour we justifiably deserve and the assurances our clients expect.

This is a milestone achievement and one that reflects Total Comms Training growth and development as a leading training provider.
