Datacentres are commonplace throughout the industry. Comprising of a significant amount of computer hardware and storage area networks, datacentres have rapidly become the main growth area of communications cabling and as such, support engineers and IT staff need to know about the cabling infrastructure. 

This course addresses the unique issues of the datacentre. Aimed in particular at individuals who have the perhaps have responsibility for engineering and IT support, and perhaps the management of the datacentre, or maybe an IT professional who needs to understand how the "physical layer" - either way, this course is performs a key role to the successful operation of vital cabling services within the datacentre.

This one day course provides an insight into the processes and highlights the physical components and cabling infrastructure that underpin the datacentre.

Delegates attending this course might find it helpful to have some basic understanding of communications cabling, however, the course is open to anyone who wants to find out more about cabling media as deployed in the datacentre
